With the Call Forward feature on the Mitel Superset 4025 phone, you are able to redirect your incoming calls to an alternate number. You have the option to forward external calls only, internal calls only, or both. For both, you must program each separately.

When it comes to call forwarding, there are different options:

• “Always Forward?” redirects all incoming calls regardless of the state of your telephone.
• “When No Answer?” redirects calls after several rings if you do not answer.
• “When Set’s Busy?” redirects calls when your telephone is busy.
• “Busy/No Answer?“redirects calls when your telephone is busy or when you don’t answer.

Call Forward
To program Call Forward, begin by pressing the SUPERKEY button. Next, press the NO softkey until “Call Forwarding?” appears on the screen. Then, press the YES softkey.

To program external forwarding, press the CHANGE softkey.
To program internal forwarding, press the NO softkey, then the CHANGE softkey.

Now, press the PROGRAM softkey and then press the NO softkey until the type of Call Forward you would like appears. Press the YES softkey, and then dial the destination number. After entering the number, press the SAVE softkey.

Once Call Forward is programmed, you may turn the feature on or off by repeating these steps, and then pressing either the TurnON softkey or TurnOFF softkey accordingly.

Call Forward – Remote
Call Forward – Remote forwards calls from a remote station to your current station.

To set Call Forward – Remote, begin by pressing the SUPERKEY button. Next, press the NO softkey until “Call Forwarding?” appears. Press the YES softkey, and then press the NO or NEXT softkey until “I’m Here” appears on the screen. Press the YES softkey, and then dial the extension of the remote station. Lastly, press the SAVE softkey.

To cancel Call Forward – Remote from the station that set the remote forwarding, lift the handset and dial 07. Then dial the extension of the remote station and hang up.

To cancel Call Forward – Remote from the station that was forwarded, press the SUPERKEY button, then press the NO softkey until “Call Forwarding?” appears, and then press the YES softkey.

• If “External Calls?” appears, press the YES softkey, then the DEL softkey, and then the NEXT softkey until “Internal Calls?” appears.  Press the YES softkey and then the DEL softkey.

• If “External Calls?” does not appear, simply press the DEL softkey.

Call Forward – Toggle
The Call Forward – Toggle feature is useful if you want call forwarding in effect for Busy and No Answer conditions most of the time, but occasionally need to override it with Call Forward Always. For example, when you are using a second phone, instead of changing the Call Forward programming on your main phone to turn Call Forward Always on and off, you can program a key to do it.

To toggle Call Forward, press the programmed feature key: Forward Always, Forward Busy, Forward No Ans, or Forward Busy/NA. You may also program a Forward All key to enable and disable all call forward types that have a destination programmed.

To program a personal key, press the SUPERKEY button, and then press the NO softkey until “Personal Keys?” appears. Press the YES softkey and then press a personal key that isn’t a line key. Press the CHANGE softkey and then press the NO softkey until your desired feature appears. Press the YES softkey and then press the SUPERKEY button.

Making conference calls on the Mitel Superset 4025 phone allows you to connect two or more parties on one call. You may add more parties to existing conferences as well as split conference calls to engage in a private conversation. To learn how to do this on your Mitel phone, follow these steps.

Whether you are on a two-party call, or you are already engaged in a conference, you may add another party by pressing the TRANS/CONF button. Then dial the number of the party you wish to add and wait for an answer. Once you are connected to the new party, press the TRANS/CONF button.

To split a conference and speak privately with the original party, press the SPLIT softkey. To alternate between the two parties, press the TRADE softkey.

To move a call on Hold to another line appearance, press the available line key. Next, press the ADD HELD softkey. Then, press the flashing line key.

To add a call on Hold to an existing conversation or conference, press the ADD HELD softkey, then press the flashing line key.

To leave a conference, simply hang up the phone.

To place an active call on hold, press the HOLD button. You may return the handset to the cradle. To retrieve a held call, pick up the handset and press the flashing line key. To retrieve a held call from a different station, you may press the flashing line key or dial 23 followed by the number of the station that placed the call on hold.

To transfer an active call, press the TRANS/CONF button. Next, dial the number of the third party. You may hang up to complete the transfer. If you wish to announce the transfer, wait for an answer, consult, and then hang up. To cancel the transfer, press the CANCEL button.
